AMBON CULTURE

hay my name ernestina apitule fortune, apitule clan is one of the descendants of my father. apitule name even in Ambon made a path, and for those of you who do not know what the meaning of apitule. apitule means "resistant or immune to fire", but it's just a name to indicate that we and our clan is a strong man of all odds. it is a small part of Ambon tribal culture.

Cakalele Maluku is a traditional war dance used to welcome guests or the customary celebration. Typically, this dance performed by 30 men and women. This dance is performed in pairs with musical accompaniment drum, flute, bia (a type of wind instrument).
The male dancer usually wears a machete and Salawaku (shield) while the female dancers using Lenso (handkerchief). Male dancers dressed in costumes dominated the red and yellow colors, and wearing a head covering aluminum insert with a white feather. Costume red pants on the male dancers symbolize heroism, courage, and patriotism of the people of Maluku. HOLIDAY ON FRIDAY

Friday I had a day yesterday I was at college and at home. in the morning around 7am, I woke up in the morning and prepare breakfast. then finished breakfast, I rushed to shower and prepare to go to college.
I left home around 8:30 because of the distance from home to college pretty much less than 1 hour. I arrived at the college exactly at 09.30, and in the classroom a lot of my friends who had arrived at the college. we joked together while waiting for our professor came to class. in class, I always wait lecturers come for 30 minutes. a few minutes later, arrived at the classroom teacher and started to learn. Our study for 2 hours. around 11:30, my class and I break up with my friends to go to the cafeteria for lunch. around 13:30, my friends and I returned to the classroom to learn again.
around 17:00, I was home from college. I got home at 18:00, I immediately cleaned up and dinner. finished dinner, I worked on basic accounting tasks. around 22:00, I had to rest to prepare for tomorrow.

NEW YEAR EVE

Before the new year, I had planned with my friends to hold a dinner at his house and we were already preparing supplies and food items that will serve as the new year arrives. On December 31 before 12 o'clock at night, I attended the first of my family. At 7 p.m and had a large family gathering at home brother of my father. Any event run smoothly from beginning to end but unfortunately I could not join in the fireworks show because I had to hurry to go home my friend.
My friend when he got home, my friends and I have gathered all the houses are very crowded. They're roasting a chicken while turning on music and singing. I also helped to prepare fireworks for the event opening the new year arrives.
At 23:59 hours the night arrives, these foods are served at the dining room table neat and drinks were already arranged neatly, too. I and my friends were already in front of the house to get ready for fireworks and New Year arrives we all simultaneously lit the fireworks and it was so much fun, we laughed while saying "Happy New Year" to our friends. after the fireworks, we had dinner. At about 1 am I went home to my house safely.
